EFT was founded by Gary Craig and it has its roots in TFT and beyond that Keniesiology. If you want to go even further on establishing how this treatment started, history shows that this technique derives earlier from Chinese remedies, more specifically as a form of accupuncture 'without using needles' - also called tapping. It produces calming signals at DNA level in the body by tapping on Meridian points in the body.
